This is a simple service from uniforx GmbH for static routing - Quest for X - i.e. a route to a defined destination. Basically, you can think of the function at the end as "bit.ly". The links between the physical and virtual worlds in particular require an intermediate layer so that they remain in sync for as long as possible. Virtual services change very quickly, but once links have been placed, they cannot keep up with the pace and do not have to. The QforX service is the key component for precisely this connection.
